For your safety as well as ours, the Parish Office will remain closed to the public. We will still be answering phone calls as well as updating our website and Facebook page, but our physical location is closed for the time being.

My Dear Parishioners,

Peace be with you all. I know many of us have gone through this first week saddened with this temporary loss of the Sacraments. However, we are not deprived of our faith. This time that we have now must be united with Christ in the garden of Gethsemane. Where we may ask the Father to “…remove this chalice from me…” but respond, “… not what I will, but what thou wilt” (S. Mark 14:36). We may be tempted to think that we have been abandoned but we have not been abandoned. Our Lord consoled us saying, “Behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world” (S. Matthew 28:20).

We must not blame authorities here on earth because they have no power. God has all the power! He knows when we live and when we die. He is in complete control over all the movements of nature. I encourage you, my parishioners, to keep praying for the universal Church as we all collectively go through this time of suffering during Lent.

I want to mention that our staff here is working to get our Masses here posted online for your attendance. We will keep you updated on our website and Facebook pages with any new information.

Be comforted, your shepherds are here united with you, our sheep. All of your intentions are offered in all of our Masses. I long to see you all again at our parish.

God bless you all,
Fr. Stanley Onwuegbule

“Pray, hope, and don't worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayer.”
St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina

An Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
